城墙开放长度有望增加
单霁翔介绍，故宫将启动修缮紫禁城城墙，系统修复城墙尚属首次。据悉，今年故宫开放面积将达到76%。2020年，故宫开放面积将达到80%；2025年达到85%。单霁翔还透露，明年故宫还计划开放一段城墙，让公众再多一个登高赏景的好去处。作为参观线路上的出口——神武门展厅也将有大动作，据介绍，故宫正试验在这里加建二层，预计成为神武门的临时展厅，今后每年将举办修复展。
