8月29日，太原市某高校一名在校男生的父亲张先生接到儿子手机发来的信息，内容是其子小张已被对方控制，要求张先生准备50万元人民币赎金。经过确认后，张先生立即向警方报案。
此案引起太原警方高度重视，连夜制定解救方案。经初步查明，受害人小张，21岁，系山西某大学在校学生。8月29日上午，小张离家赴学校后一直未归。
专案组兵分四路全面展开调查工作。8月30日凌晨，犯罪嫌疑人将赎金增至100万元人民币，并通过受害人微信发来求救视频。通过侦查，警方确认对方地址在香港。

随后，电话转接至“天津大港公安分局”，一名自称“王警官”的人同小张进行简单对话后挂机。大约5分钟后，“王警官”再次打来电话，告诉小张他已卷入一起名为“李强”诈骗案的中国国务院二级加密案件。因案件涉密，要求所有通话内容不许告诉任何人(包括父母)，此次通话作为笔录不许挂断，同时要求受害人加名为“CID018523”和“张根大”两个微信号。
微信聊天期间，“张根大”通过微信向受害人宣读了一份“银行卡的管制冻结令和天津检察院的逮捕令”，再次要求受害人不能告诉任何人，随后结束微信聊天并挂断电话。
15时30分左右，对方又来电话，要求受害人小张购买一部最便宜的新手机和一张不是自己身份证办理的新电话卡，以防被“李强”同伙监听，声称31日前有一次“重要行动”。
“此时的受害人内心非常害怕，在惶恐中按对方要求离开学校，并办理了新的电话号码。”办案民警说。
此后，小张任凭对方通过电话远程操控。在对方电话指使下，小张先后在KTV及足疗店独自留守。期间，诈骗集团以“小张被控制”为由向张父索要赎金。
据介绍，8月30日凌晨3时左右，小张按对方要求向父亲拨打求救电话，随后又拍摄被绑架视频，而其实期间并没有任何人看守他。直到民警出现在小张面前时，小张才知道自己被诈骗集团遥控指挥的事实。
对此，太原警方提示广大市民，特别是在校学生，一定要相信警方，一定要提高自身防范意识。在接到陌生的电话或短信后，莫要轻信、回复，遇有可疑情况要多与家人亲属进行沟通，要及时报警，积极配合警方开展工作，切莫以身涉险，落入骗子编织的陷阱。
