火箭发射的时候，我们可以看到升腾起一片白烟，然后火箭的火焰从塔架两侧喷出，其实，这样的情景是因为在发射塔底下，建造了一个巨大的深坑，学名叫做导流槽。
酒泉卫星发射中心发测站工作人员 齐健： 大家顺着我的手看过去，塔架平台的这个口对应的就是火箭芯一级最下端的尾喷口，点火时候火箭的尾焰就会竖直向下进到导流槽里，然后通过这个棱分到两边，从两个离塔架比较远的口倒出去。
导流槽可避免发射时火焰烧到塔架
如果没有导流槽，火箭喷出的火焰遇到地面就会反弹回来，这两千多度的高温连钢铁都要熔化，如果烧到塔架和火箭本身，都会造成极大的破坏。因此，这平时看不见的导流槽还是在发射的过程中起到了很重要的作用。

酒泉卫星发射中心发测站工作人员 齐健：对，它的名称叫消防环管，围绕这一周有401个，这401个消防环管在火箭点火的前4秒开始喷水，起到的作用就是给火箭尾焰降温、降噪。大家在发射的时候可以看到，就是在点火的瞬间可以看到，一团白汽升腾而起，其实就是喷出来的水，汽化的一个现象。
发射火焰两千多度 导流槽留下痕迹
走到导流槽底部，才能见识这里的宏伟，整个导流槽有18米宽、16米深，两个火焰出口的最大距离超过100米，很难想象在发射点火时，这里被两千多度的火焰冲刷时的景象。
记者：这里还能看到火焰烧过的痕迹。

记者：这样会对结构有影响吗？
酒泉卫星发射中心发测站工作人员 齐健：不会，这都是用添加了特殊化学元素的混凝土制成的，抗冲刷、耐腐蚀。我们在发射前要下来对这里进行卫生清理，特别是比较大的石块和高强度的螺钉，要清理掉，防止发射时的气流把它们吹出来，对周围的人或设施造成伤害。
