针对上述事故，特斯拉随即发表声明称，目前正在对中国的这起车祸进行调查，但是由于碰撞造成严重损坏，事故车辆无法将日志数据传回服务器，因此无法知道事故发生时车辆是否启用了“Autopilot”功能。

特斯拉还表示，已多次尝试与高的家人合作，以确定发生撞车事故的原因，但高的家人“没有向我们提供任何额外的信息，让我们能够这样做。”
