在大门口办理了访客卡，录入了头像，穿过堪比机场安检的层层检查，终于进入大名鼎鼎的燕城监狱的内部。
第一站：沙盘，情绪宣泄，音乐疏导……都在教育中心！
小分队此行第一站，是监狱的教育中心。一进门，就看到大厅里，挂着一条横幅——“监狱长接待日”。原来，在这里，监狱长接待服刑人员，了解他们的诉求，是每个月的“固定节目”。

这里有情绪宣泄室，音乐疏导室，衡心测评室，沙盘治疗室……这些设施绝不是“摆摆架子”，而是供服刑人员日常使用的设施。但这些设备倒不是最重要的。最重要的是——人才。在这里，拥有国家二级、三级心理咨询师的警察叔叔为数不少。

离开教育中心，小分队马不停蹄，赶到一监区。一监区设有阅览室，他们可读到最新期刊，还能通过电脑上监狱内网，学习，购物，约心理咨询。阅览室外有个大厅，每晚7点，犯人就在这里集中观看新闻联播。
服刑人员的寝室是个八人间。可以看到，出于安全考虑，床都是用没有棱角的木头做的。而床上，则整整齐齐地摆着“豆腐块”——据介绍，内务是参照军队标准来要求的。而这也关乎到服刑人员的“计分考核”。足够的计分，能争取到减刑的机会。

第三站：工厂，菜地，果园……自力更生，就在这里！
