黑客表示，成功获取这些敏感信息，意味着白宫的网络安保措施形同虚设。如果恐怖分子得知这些信息，后果将不堪设想。目前白宫发言人表示，还不能确定米歇尔护照扫描文件以及其他白宫内部邮件信息的真实性。
