　　辽宁省文物局局长丁辉坦承，修成“平板路”的确不好看，但符合抢救保护需要。这种中间略高、两边低的平板状，加上覆盖一层三合土，防水效果好，夏季可抵雨水冲刷、冬天可防存水上冻。他强调，这段长城是抢救性修缮，是防止长城加速破损，“是否好看”并不是最重要的。

　　锥子山长城不少段点坐落在燕山山脉的险峻山岭之间，加上这里地处深山老林，原汁原味，有人称它为“最美野外古长城”。

　　记者了解到，这段修缮的长城大约有1200米长。2011年，绥中县文物局针对长城整体破损严重，部分地段有险情，委托辽宁省文物保护中心设计了维修方案。随后，方案连续通过了省文物局和国家文物局组织的专家评审，共获得国家1000多万元的补贴资金。

　　维修工程分4个标段，经招投标程序，分别由来自辽宁大连、沈阳和山东曲阜的四家古建公司施工，其中作为A标段的500米长城地基由大连园林古建公司维修，总造价300多万元，辽宁一家专业机构还对整个施工进行了全程监理。工程从2013年7月动工，2014年11月完工，目前已通过辽宁省文物局组织的技术验收，即将报国家文物局最终验收。

　　在勘察现场，记者见到了赶来送施工资料的大连园林古建公司和山东曲阜园林古建筑工程公司几名负责人。他们表示，尽管条件十分艰苦，但公司严格按照设计方案施工，完全靠人工将一包包白灰和黄土从山脚背上来。

　　修缮、维护过程疑点颇多

　　《长城保护条例》对修缮长城规定了十分严格的流程。维修申请和设计方案需向文物部门层层申报，各级文物部门都要组织专家组评审，工程设计、施工、监理等单位都必须具备相应资质。

　　此次维修中，尽管相关单位资质完备，并严格遵守规定程序，但一些地方还是让人生疑。
