在Chrome官方支持止步于V49之后，近日Mozilla表示，在推出Firefox 53版本发布之后将停止支持Windows XP与Vista操作系统。如果你想要继续使用FF，那么最低使用Windows7，除了ESR扩展支持版本分支之外的所有旧版本将不会再对XP与Vista提供支持。而ESR的支持周期将到2018年中结束，这期间不会再有任何功能上的改进。

据悉全新的FireFox浏览器将会在安装程序之前提示用户系统不再受支持，用户数据的同步功能也将受到影响。

据统计，在中国依然有27.58%的PC在运行Windows XP操作系统，用户未来如果坚守老系统，那么只能够使用不再受支持的软件版本。
