　　三沙，中国最南端的地级市，是人口最少，面积最大的城市。三沙警备区，中国最年轻的警备区，祖国最南端的国防动员单位，2012年7月24日在永兴岛正式挂牌组建。辽阔的三沙海域，南海的一岛一礁、一海一洲，都留下了警备区官兵守一方国土、护一方平安，在南海深处用忠诚践行使命，献身强军实践的足迹。

　　用使命和血性锻造为国守海的一线尖兵

　　组建伊始，永兴岛一座有着近30年历史的招待所里，三沙警备区5位临危受命，有着丰富的带兵经历和工作履历的“老兵们”为警备区的未来把脉定向。他们深知：三沙警备区身处南海维权一线，军事斗争最前沿，要区别于一般警备区的职能任务和建设标准，要把警备区建成南海斗争的一线尖兵、海防体系的前沿支点、南海维权的重要力量、地方施政的可靠力量、军民融合的生动范例。

　　在警备区有这样一组数据：4年来，从司令员、政委，到普通士兵，他们的足迹遍布南海每个角落，人均超过3万海里。

　　南海波诡云谲，形势复杂严峻。三沙警备区处在南海前沿、前哨、前线地位，谁能对未来战场了如指掌，谁就抢得了先机。

　　2012年7月，司令员蔡喜宏一上任就带着党委班子成员和机关参谋在西沙跑了5天5夜，南沙又漂了9天9夜，登上了西沙所有岛礁和南沙中国实际控制岛礁。

　　1983年从军校毕业后，蔡喜宏这位1.9米大个子的湖南军人就与南海结下不解之缘。南海的所有岛礁，他不知跑了多少次。成为三沙警备区司令员后，每到一个岛礁，都会感到肩上的责任更重。

　　忘战必危，警备区官兵们比谁都清楚，战争离我们有多近。除了一般参谋应知应会课目外，官兵们给自己层层加码：游泳、抗眩晕训练、船艇驾驶、卫星通信、外语……从畏海、避海到知海、懂海、爱海，一批熟悉南海政策法规、了解周边国家和军队情况、掌握南海岛礁环境和水文状况的“南海通”活跃在三沙各个岛礁上。

　　仲夏时节，南海深处某海域。一场带实战背景的综合演习正如火如荼展开：数十艘大吨位渔船劈波斩浪驶向集结海域，途中演练编队航渡、弹药油料补充、卫星通信联络、海上防护伪装和海上破障等多个实战内容。

　　在警备区，官兵们深知“武艺练不精事小，祸国殃民事大！”战场在哪里，就在哪里练兵，就要练就能掌控战场的兵！

　　陆军现役最大某型综合保障船列装警备区，面对无人员编制、无营区码头、无保障基地，这群从海军、陆军抽调来的热血男儿立下了军令状：不把这艘船开进南海，不啃下这块“硬骨头”，誓不还家！船长甘滔带头打起背包住进了还在施工的船舱。

　　2015年11月22日，警备区参谋长陈胜云带着综合保障船从大连起航，经过9个昼夜，跨黄海、渤海、东海、南海四大海域，航行1900海里，驶入南海，停靠在海口秀英港时，所有人都流下了热泪。他们同样创造了历史：陆军现役最大船艇首次横跨四大海域远距离复杂海况航行；陆军船艇首次开进三沙，改写了三沙没有陆船的历史……

　　“捍卫主权，大海就是我们的热血疆场”

　　守一方国土，决不把领土守小了，决不把主权守丢了。警备区官兵用生命诠释着这一誓言。

　　浪花礁，南海深处一个不寻常的大地坐标，更是一个属于三沙警备区官兵的精神坐标，它记录着官兵们与大海搏斗的记忆。

　　2014年2月，西沙浪花礁3块领海基点主权碑被损毁，周边聚集了大量不明国籍渔船。“事关国家主权，怕死就别在三沙干！” 面对超过3米的风浪，政委廖朝毅、三沙市副市长冯文海带着永兴人武部部长符志辉和民兵冒着生命危险赶赴一线。符志辉面对2艘渔船的疯狂冲撞，整个人被甩到海里，因及时抓住缆绳才保住性命。廖朝毅在抵近礁盘时因为风浪太大被打翻在船上，胳膊脱臼。他强忍着剧痛指挥人员完成拍照、测量、取证工作，并及时上报情况，为国家外交斗争提供第一手资料。

　　“乐守天涯，大海就是我们的美丽家园”

　　吃饭、睡觉、上厕所，在平常人看来最幸福的三件事，警备区官兵们却成了“三最怕”。当前身是陆军的警备区官兵走到这片海时，晕船等现实问题对他们提出了考验。

　　政委廖朝毅告诉记者，目前，警备区几乎每名干部都去过西沙、南沙所有的岛礁，有三分之一去过中沙黄岩岛。“都是二三十岁的娃娃，常年在海上风吹日晒再加上劳累，都比同龄人老了很多！”说起这些，这个从军近40年的老兵对自己的兵充满疼爱。

　　政治部干事杨志刚，保持着连续在船上工作60天的纪录。他告诉记者自己晕船最严重时的经历：上千吨的船身被风浪拍打剧烈摇晃，胃里翻江倒海，一会就吐得一嘴药味，人窝在船舱一角头疼欲裂，无法入睡。

　　去年11月，广西籍战士农史善在南沙执行任务时突遇强对流天气，风浪搅着海水从船顶倾泄而下冲进船舱，房间的物品因为船摇晃的幅度太大东倒西歪。晚上睡觉的时候，他从床铺上被甩下来好几回，胳膊上青一块紫一块的。他索性拿绳子把自己在床板上捆了两道。后来这个土办法被警备区官兵广泛流传。

　　以岛为家、以船为家、以海为家。这是警备区每名官兵的人生信条。就是这样一群人，扎根海岛在自己的岗位上默默奉献着。每一个人物背后，都藏着和大海结缘的故事。

　　四级军士长郑敏炎坐了18个小时的船到达永兴岛执勤，却接到爱人打来电话，5岁的孩子被查出慢性肾炎。堂堂七尺男儿，坐在码头望着轮船远去的影子越来越小，一根接一根独自抽完了一包烟。

　　一位诗人去了一趟西沙，写下这样的话：在这里，风景固然美丽，但是灵魂更令人深深地仰视，朝圣！（完）
