早前报道：
“十一“黄金周首日，因高速免费自驾车出行增多，广州机场高速北行方向从凌晨4点多开始出现塞车，截至上午10点机场高速往白云机场方向新市至蚌湖路段车速严重缓慢，车龙长达15公里。广乐高速北上线车流一直阻塞至机场高速，不少旅客因此晚到机场而延误了航班。白云机场紧急呼吁：乘机请尽可能坐地铁且尽早出门。
今天凌晨至上午9：00，据不完全统计，白云机场有539名旅客因晚到而误机，其中机场代理方面239人，南方航空公司300人左右。白云机场和航空公司方面，已经通过增开柜台、增派人手来做好旅客的退票和改签等服务工作。明天和后天依然是黄金周出行高峰，预计机场高速塞车现象还会持续。
白云机场提醒十一黄金周有出行需求的广大旅客：
1、出门前请查询好航班动态，尽量提前3小时到达机场。
2、尽可以选择坐地铁前往机场，地铁三号线北延线可直通航站楼；
3、自驾车前往机场的旅客，可绕行106国道至人和再转来机场；
4、自驾车来机场的旅客也可经广花公路（S114）转入方华公路（S267）再进入机场。
