发生马蜂蜇人事件景区今天是第一天试运营，景区内有广西第一座玻璃悬空吊桥，吸引大批游客前往，截至当日中午12时，进景区游客突破5000人。中午12许，景区的玻璃桥一带忽然出现马蜂蜇人情况，为确保游客安全，景区将玻璃桥临时关闭，同时也暂停景区门票的销售。
之后融水县旅游管理部门发布通报称，共有14名游客被马蜂蜇伤，其中13名游客中被送至该县人民医院治疗，7人输液，6人进行消毒、抗过敏和预防破伤风处理。医生表示，13人均无生命危险。
