　　2016年10月3日上午9时30分左右，山东莱芜钢铁集团有限公司医院（以下简称“莱钢医院”）李宝华医生在工作中被人用刀袭击，生命垂危。案件发生后，卫生计生委李斌主任、王贺胜副主任，中国公安部黄明副部长立即做出批示，要求全力抢救受害医生，加强案件督办，依法严惩犯罪分子，同时，做好受害医生家属和医务人员安抚工作。卫生计生委会同中国公安部启动重大涉医案件应急处置程序，指导山东省卫生计生委、公安厅连夜派出工作组赶赴现场，指导当地卫生计生部门和公安机关全力抢救受害医生，全力做好案件侦办、依法严惩犯罪分子，做好医务人员及家属安抚工作。山东省卫生计生委第一时间组织最强医疗力量全力抢救，但因伤势过重，李宝华医生于3日下午5时抢救无效去世。卫生计生委、中国公安部派出工作人员对李宝华医生的家属及莱钢医院医务人员进行慰问，督办案件侦办工作。
