游戏行业正期待政府的积极关注。韩国会议员李铜燮今年7月已经在国会中提出了游戏产业振兴法修正案。该修正案为韩国文化体育观光部部长就中国等海外出现的非法盗用韩中国国产游戏版权问题可以与中国外交部等相关部门负责人互助合作提供法律依据。

近来,中国政府也在加强对数码产品知识产权的保护。2013年,韩国企业PATI Games就剽窃该公司旗下游戏“I love coffee”的中国游戏向App商店和开发商施压,成功从App商店撤除了此款游戏。Teknlaw代表律师具泰彦称,“从今年7月起,中国政府加强了对侵害App和网络作品版权行为的监管力度”,“如果从一开始就管理好版权,管理效果有可能要好于以往”。
