这是泰国旅游和体育部部长科甘5日晚在曼谷一家酒店会见来自中国南京的导游杨莉时说的一番话。科甘提到的献血事件发生在上月下旬。

科甘从泰国社交媒体上了解到杨莉的献血事迹后十分感动，专门委托中国驻泰国大使馆帮助联系杨莉。大使馆领保处通过南京旅游局联系到杨莉所在的南京文华国际旅行社，得知杨莉在国庆期间正好带旅行团赴曼谷旅游。
当地时间10月5日晚7时许，刚结束会议的科甘专程前往杨莉入住的酒店看望她并向她当面致谢。科甘亲切地握着杨莉的手，连连向她表示谢意，为她戴上象征泰国国旗三色的手链，并将致谢卡和手工编织的围巾等纪念品赠送给她。
