活跃APP排行榜单上，前五名被腾讯占据三席，如果算上腾讯系的搜狗则霸占了前四位，第五名为支付宝，除了搜狗之外，前十名全为BAT旗下软件。

与九月相比，部分APP的流量消耗有所变动，户均月消耗流量排行榜上，Bilibili超越了微信，户均月流量为239.48MB，社交媒体类、音乐视频类软件依然是流量杀手。

中国联通提取了中国移动用户上网日志，该流量统计不包含Wi-Fi流量，统计时间为9月1日到9月30日，通过移动互联网络使用APP的信息汇总。统计人群为一个月内至少产生一次使用行为的联通用户，井按中国联通移动电话用户市场份额转换为整体移动网活跃用户数量。
