对此，市政府高度重视，立即召开紧急会议进行安排部署，成立了专门工作组，并责成教体局、市场监管局等部门立即对学校食堂的食材进行抽样检测，对学校食堂资质、食材购置手续等相关情况进行核查落实；责成英才实验学校配合调查；安排工作组积极与学生家长沟通情况，解答问题。
市场监管局第一时间对学校食堂22个品种的食材进行了抽样，并委托青岛英格尔检测技术服务有限公司进行检测，结果将于一周后反馈。
虽然目前检测结果尚未出具，事件也未定性，但市政府作出郑重承诺：
第一，尽管目前尚未发现学生因学校食堂食材问题引发的健康问题，但是近期若有学生反映身体不适，市政府将责成校方有组织地对学生进行身体检查。
第二，市政府正在就学生家长反映的问题积极予以调查处理，学校相关人员正在接受有关部门的调查，待调查结束以后，将实事求是地在第一时间向社会公布调查结果，给学生和家长一个满意的答复，给社会一个公正的交代，若学校食堂在食材购置、食品安全、卫生管理等方面存在问题，将坚决按相关法律法规严肃处理，绝不姑息。
第三，在检测结果尚未出具之前，市政府已安排工作组对学校食堂进行严格监管，确保期间学校师生就餐安全。
第四，市政府将举一反三，认真加强全市学校食堂的食品安全管理，进一步健全相关制度，努力为全市师生营造安全放心的就餐环境。
