今年“10·10”故宫博物院九十一岁华诞。故宫昨日在太和殿区域进行了建院史上最大规模的消防实兵演习，以此庆生，“防爆消防灭火侦查机器人”也因此首次在故宫“灭火”。昨天上午10时10分，消防演习正式开始。演习假定太和殿遭到雷击，闷顶内发生“火灾”（实为模拟的烟雾效果），安全监控中心值班人员通过视频监控发现火情，开放管理处现场工作人员发现有人员被困，安全受到严重威胁，迅速通知消防处值班员，第一时间拨打119报警电话，并组织现场观众进行疏散。
接到报警后，故宫博物院微型消防站、应急小分队和三支志愿消防队人员迅速集结赶往火灾发生地点，按照应急预案，扑救初期火灾；之后，公安消防官兵、驻院武警中队和派出所人员对太和殿区域设置警戒线，划定警戒区域，奋力扑救，并对抢救出的文物实行严密保护，禁止无关人员进入；120医务急救人员对受伤人员进行紧急救治，并送往医院。演习全程持续近1小时，获得圆满成功。参加消防演习的共有来自故宫博物院、北京市公安消防总队、天安门消防监督处、武警北京总队二师第十支队七中队、故宫派出所等5家单位，共计包括故宫博物院员工、现役官兵和专职队员约500人。
“火”一直是故宫的大忌。故宫博物院院长单霁翔介绍，紫禁城自1420年建成至今的600年间，共发生火灾近100起，防火工作是故宫博物院安全工作的第一要务。太和殿作为紫禁城中最大殿宇，中国现存规制最高的古代宫殿建筑，具有极其重要的历史和文物价值。历史上太和殿共发生2起雷击起火事件，其中1421年发生雷击火灾，太和殿全部焚毁，1440年重新修建；1557年再次因雷击发生火灾，1562年重建。
在昨天的演习中，消防部队还展示了先进的救火设备——包括大力A类泡沫消防车、32米高的云梯车、可载26吨水罐的斯堪尼亚消防车、照明车等。尤其吸引人眼球的是“防爆消防灭火侦查机器人”——虽然看上去机器人就像放大版的儿童玩具车，但是在关键时刻，两个小机器人居然稳稳地登上太和殿前的台阶，并且举起水龙冲入火场。

本报讯（记者 王岩）在举行防火演习的同时，故宫博物院昨日还拆除了一批彩钢房，进一步消除火灾隐患。昨天拆除的彩钢房位于乾清门区域、宁寿门区域，以及南三所区域。据悉，拆除后将恢复乾清门与宁寿门古建原貌，并扩大观众参观游览的空间。
2012年以前，为了缓解办公科研用房紧张情况，故宫曾先后修建了59栋彩钢房以及建设了一些与整体环境不协调的临时建筑，分布在故宫古建筑群内。从2012年开始，故宫着手对院内彩钢房屋等临时建筑进行整改和拆除，截至2015年11月，已经完成的聚苯材质彩钢房拆除共计55处，总面积为3040.72平方米。如今，故宫决定于明年上半年全部拆除故宫内原有的3600平方米彩钢房建筑和11200平方米其他临时建筑，共计14800平方米。未来紫禁城内，只有古代建筑和部分经过文物部门批准恢复的传统建筑，观众将看不到任何影响古建筑群风貌和安全的现代临时建筑。
