他表示，未来30年，中国各行各业会有新的变化，比如：新零售、新制造、新金融、新技术、新资源。
“新零售是线上、线下和物流的结合；新制造将变成智慧制造和个性制造；新金融是指，未来金融行业将服80%的中小企业。”
同时，他强调，未来在工业时代的金融机构如何转变成技术时代的金融机构，以及数据时代将带来新的整合技术发展成新资源这两方面，将会蓬勃发展。
他提出，数据是人类历史上自己创造的巨大资源，电子商务只是未来30年变革序幕，电子商务必须线上线下和物流结合，打造新的商业圈。
当马云谈到电子商务和传统商业的话题时，他认为，电子商务并没有冲击传统商业，只是创造了一种新的商业模式。
对于创业的话题，他也发表了自己的看法。他表示，未来创业，应该是你有好的想法，社会有公平的资源给你。创业需要公平的法律环境，不光是税收优惠。
马云介绍即将要举办的云栖大会，他表示，互联网大企业要有担当，把创业成本门槛降低，让每个人都有公平的机会创业。
他建议，双创光有激情想法不够，需要科学管理，国家需要大力发展管理培训教育，还有提到教育体制改革。
同时，他强调，未来30年的变革中，政府还要意识到每次技术革命总遇到的贫困、环境等问题。
