　　海水里也能产稻米？没错！昨日上午，随着袁隆平院士领衔的青岛海水稻研究发展中心在李沧区的签约落户，标志着青岛的“盐碱地”也可变身“良田”。袁隆平院士表示，将在3年之内，研发出亩产300公斤的海水稻，明年4月播种，明年秋天收获，让青岛市民代表明年秋天就可以品尝上海水稻。而袁隆平院士本人每年至少有3个月时间在青岛做海水稻研究。

　　为啥选青岛？30亩慌滩变良田

　　“青岛有50万亩盐碱地，又环拥胶州湾，很适合研究和推广海水稻。”袁策生物科技有限公司董事长张国栋介绍，此次在胶州湾北部设立的30亩海水稻科研育种基地，研制成功后，可将这些盐碱地全部变为良田。

　　“近期，我们还需要半海水（一半淡水、一半海水）浇灌，全部实现海水灌溉还需要几年过渡期。”张国栋这样描述海水稻的生长目标。

　　“我们计划是明年4月播种，秋季收割！”袁策生物科技有限公司董事长张国栋说，在明年秋天，将会收获第一批海水稻研发成果，届时会邀请市民代表前去品尝，并恳请市民提出口感意见。
