辛格接受采访时说，对于无人机袭击的出现，“我们本应该为此做好准备，但我们没有”。美军消息人士透露，他们正在关注极端组织部署更多“武装无人机”的动向。美军将部署更多反无人机设备，如电子干扰设备。
“我们不会坐视敌人发展出可以威胁我们以及盟友安全的能力，”打击“伊斯兰国”国际联合阵线发言人多里安说。
