Compare with South Asian countries of India and Pakistan, Bangladesh's "sense of place" a lot weaker.
Yesterday, President XI Jinping visited Bangladesh, led many attention in the country.
Reporter two days before on the Web on "China + Bangladesh" is retrieved, and found a surprising message:
Bangladesh is one of the top ten Chinese migrants ' countries of destination!
According to the above data, Bangladesh 2013 168,119 Chinese immigrants, behind Spain and the United Kingdom before.
Nani? Is there a mistake?!
In our minds, migration generally is moved to a more developed country, Bangladesh is a very backward country. Figure 10 Chinese migrants in the country of destination referred to in, only Bangladesh is a developing country.
So here's the thing, why are there so many Chinese immigrants to Bangladesh?
In a rigorous scientific proof spirit, decided to take the matter under study.
First, the above sources of data should be derived from the international migration report (2015) Blue book. The book prepared by the global think tank in China, Chinese Academy of social sciences published, mainly combed through 2013-2014 international arrivals between China's size and distribution.
Mentioned in the preface to the report, international immigrant groups in China became the largest foreign immigrant groups in the world, Chinese immigrants mainly destined for the United States, and Canada, and Australia, and Korea, and Japan, Singapore and other countries.
This accords with most people's understanding of Chinese immigrants. However, the preamble made no mention of Bangladesh.
Because the report was a blue book with hundreds of pages, not to have read the book (chiefly by money) not clear whether other parts of Chinese immigrants has been mentioned in the report to the Bangladesh data.
However, we can confirm the authenticity of the data from the side.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United Nations Economic and Social Affairs will publish a journal every year world migration report, but the two bodies to "immigrant" is defined differently.

外事儿（ID：xjb-waishier）1年有16万多中国人“移民”孟加拉？还真有可能
相比同为南亚大国的印度和巴基斯坦，孟加拉国的“存在感”要弱很多。
昨天，国家主席习近平出访孟加拉国，让很多人重新关注起了这个国家。
前两天记者在网上以“中国+孟加拉”进行检索，结果发现一条令人诧异的消息：
孟加拉国居然是中国人十大移民目的地国之一！
根据上图中的数据，2013年有168119名中国人移民孟加拉国，排在西班牙和英国前面。
纳尼？有没有搞错啊？！
在我们的印象中，移民一般多是移到更发达的国家，而孟加拉国是个挺落后的国家。图中提到的10个中国人移民目的国中，也只有孟加拉国一个是发展中国家。
所以问题来了，为什么有那么多中国人移民到孟加拉国？
本着科学严谨的求证精神，决定好好研究下这件事。
首先，上图中的数据来源应该是源自《中国国际移民报告（2015）》蓝皮书。该书由中国全球化智库编写、社科院出版，主要分析梳理了2013-2014年间中国国际移民的规模及分布情况。
报告序言中提到，中国国际移民群体成为世界上最大的海外移民群体，中国人移民的主要目的地为美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、韩国、日本和新加坡等国家。
这基本符合大部分人对中国人移民的认识。不过，序言并未提到孟加拉国。
因为报告是一本数百页厚的蓝皮书，没看过这本书（主要是没钱买），无法得知报告中其它部分是否有提到中国人移民到孟加拉国的数据。
不过，我们可以从侧面印证上述数据的真实性。
国际移民组织（IOM）和联合国经济与社会事务部每年都会各自发布一份全球移民报告，但这两个机构对“移民”的定义不一样。
国际移民组织对“移民”的定义是这样的：
移民指的是从一个国家迁移到另一个国家的人，不管他/她是否是通过合法途径、自愿还是强迫迁移的，也不管他/她在迁移到目的地国家后逗留了多久。
也就是说，如果按这种方法算的话，来回一趟孟加拉就被算作是“移民”了!
联合国经社部定义的“移民”是：
除各国正式派驻他国的外交人员、联合国维和部队跨国驻扎的军事人员之外，所有在非本人出生国以外的国家定居1年以上的人。
不过，这两个机构所称的“移民”和我们平常所认为的“移民”都有很大的出入!
在中文字面中，移民就是从出生地国家移居到外国，通常会伴随着国籍的更改等程序。但对应的英语单词Migrant，其表达的含义显然要宽泛很多。
《全球移民报告2015》2000年和2015年的数据显示，孟加拉国都在全球20大移民群体国之列。
而在中国国际移民报告中，所谓国际移民，指的是离开本人国籍国或者此前常住国，跨越国家边界，迁徙到另一个国家的人。
按照中国全球化智库的这个定义，中国国际移民的范围非常宽泛，包括海外投资移民、海外技术移民、留学生、海外国际劳工、出国旅游者和海外非常规移民（即非法移民）。
如果这样算的话，孟加拉有16万多中国移民还真有可能！
有个朋友在孟加拉国待过一段时间。当她得知孟加拉是中国人十大移民目的国之一后，她的反应是：
孟加拉的确有很多中国人，但十大之列？没这么夸张吧！
在这位朋友的感受中，孟加拉国的中国人各行各业都有，包括纺织、通讯、能源、基建等，也包括中餐馆。
去年也有媒体报道称，在孟加拉从事纺织、铁路、通讯、城市建设等领域的中国人远超10万。
为什么会有这么多人在孟加拉？
最主要的原因是，中国与孟加拉国经贸往来日益频繁。孟加拉国已成为中国在南亚地区的第三大贸易伙伴，中国则是孟加拉国的第一大贸易伙伴。此外，孟加拉国还是中国在南亚地区重要的工程承包市场。
综上所述，如果按照中文通常理解的移民来说，一年有16万多中国人移民孟加拉显然是不正确的，只能说有16万多中国人在孟加拉国待过吧。
所以，你有想过“移民”孟加拉吗？
