图为事发现场。 视频截图 摄 中新网海口10月20日电（记者 付美斌）记者20日晚从海南省东方市外宣办获悉，东方八所港危化码头一船舶机舱发生爆炸，1人死亡，1人失踪。
据介绍，20日13时许，一艘广东东莞丰海海运有限公司的丰盛油8船舶在东方八所港危险化学品码头境内装载石脑油（化工轻油）过程中机舱发生爆炸。东方消防支队在接到报警后立即出动9辆消防车共50名专业消防员赶赴事故现场进行救援。
船上共有17船员被困，消防队员到达现场后立即着手对受困船员进行救援。成功将16名船员救离船舶后，其中1名人员在医院不治身亡，3名重伤人员已被转送省级医院救治，10名轻伤人员在东方市人民医院接受治疗，其中5名轻伤员经检查没问题后已经出院，2名船员没有受伤，尚有1名人员失踪。
在救出被困人员后，消防支队经过现场调查了解到船舱内装有60吨燃油，3400吨石脑油的具体情况后针对性地开展施救工作。
14时许，事故发生后，海南省安全生产监督管理局等有关部门立即成立现场指挥部，并要求中国公安部门对事故发生地半径3公里以内进行警戒，环保部门要成立应急监测小组随时待命对可能发生的环境污染情况进行实时监测，八所海事局作为牵头单位协同市公安局、东方消防支队、市交运局、环保局、安监局做好应急处置工作。海南海事局局长吴辉以及省消防总队吴施彬参谋长、省安监总工程师古远新、省环保监察总队队长陈清波、省港航局书记、副局长丁超、蔡亲耀等部门领导也在第一时间赶赴事故现场。
截止今17时许，经过消防支队的紧急救援，现场可燃气体得到稀释已经没有明火存在，下一步的应急处置工作正在部署当中。
目前事故原因正在进一步调查处理当中。（完）
