重庆石头开出比盘子大的“花” 讲述5亿年前故事|叠层石_新闻资讯
叠层石 专家现场考察石头 重庆市酉阳县一个寨子里，石头上竟开出比盘子还大的花。那石花，一团团一簇簇，不知过了多少年月。老人说，那石花是祥瑞的征兆，不准破坏它。小孩子则带着疑惑，一遍遍的问石头为什么会开花？很多年过去了，一次巧合，石头开花的秘密终于被揭开……
是怎么发现的？
近日，重庆二零八地质遗迹保护研究院张锋博士致电重庆晚报记者，欣喜地说：“重庆地区发现了距今约5亿年前的寒武纪叠层石，这是重庆地区首次发现，在中国整个南方地区都很少见，意义重大。”
说起发现叠层石的过程，还要多亏酉阳县国土房管局工会主席吴雁。吴雁是在朋友圈里看到酉阳县后坪乡乡长董泽兴晒的石头照片。吴雁是摄影爱好者，对照片石头上那精美的花纹产生兴趣，便联合科考队一起去寨子考察。
“我是在一次下乡检查工作的时候发现这种石头的，当时只觉得石头开花看起来很稀奇，于是便用手机拍照发到朋友圈。”董泽兴说。
有何重要价值？
所谓叠层石，是由于蓝藻等低微生物的生命活动，所引起的周期性矿物的沉淀、和沉积物的胶结，从而形成的叠层状的生物沉积结构。
“这是改变地球演化历史的一种化石，正是叠层石的出现，让地球大气氧气含量急剧升高，为生命演化打下基础。”张锋说，叠层石在盐碱度高的海水中最容易发育，前寒武纪时发育很好，但在进入寒武纪之后，随着后生动物的崛起而慢慢走向衰落。“在以往的研究中，叠层石对于恢复古地理、古环境与古气候起着不可代替的作用。叠层石也是一种重要的生物钟，之前就曾有利用北方的叠层石计算出中元古代地球每年有520天，每月有45天，每天有17个小时，结合其他资料得出地球自转变慢且月球正在远离地球的结论。所以它的科研价值除了恢复古环境，还能研究古时间。”
当时重庆啥样？
那是阳光明媚的一天，太阳早早升起，随后又匆匆落下。虽然它在天空中待的时间不长，却给周围带去久久不散的温暖。幽蓝的浅海里，没有多少生命迹象，几乎一片死寂，只有蓝藻等低微生物在不断生长、不断沉积。慢慢地，叠层石开始形成，它们吸入二氧化碳，排出氧气，大气开始含氧，后来呼吸氧气的海洋动物逐渐出现繁荣，当海洋开始喧嚣时，叠层石却默默地退出了历史舞台，随后它们的遗体一直保存在海洋当中……
以上是张锋描述的重庆5亿年前大概的样子。5亿年前，重庆曾是一片温暖的、重盐度的浅海区域，像死海一样，美丽却一片死寂。直到叠层石出现，才慢慢有了生命迹象。
叠层石与油气和矿产的形成有一定关系，例如云南的叠层石就与矿产形成有关。所以，也值得对该地周围进行进一步勘探。

“我们寨子里的石花代表着祥瑞”
昨日，重庆晚报记者历经6小时的车程，来到叠层石的现场——酉阳县后坪乡，一个叫石院子的小寨子，听村民讲他们和石花的故事。
石院子矗立在叠层石之上，共有三家人，人口只有约20人。山坡上、路边、小树林里、玉米秸秆下……到处都是叠层石，其他寨子里则没有。石头最集中的区域则在村民田敏家门前，大约有100平方米的集群。这些叠层石有些裸露在地表，有些则被青苔、泥土掩盖着。
“我们寨子有一两百年的历史了，很久以前我们就知道有石花，只是没引起大家的注意。大约30年前，我们在家门前挖出一个洞来囤猪草，发现洞壁上开出了好多像盘子一般大小的石花。”73岁的郑会英说，当时大家都觉得很稀奇，还从家里拿出青花瓷的老盘子去对比石花的大小。“石花在我们看来一直代表着祥瑞，不会允许任何人去破坏它。”郑会英说，村寨里很多老人认定我们的寨子是一个吉祥安乐的寨子。
“小时候我经常会给班上的同学讲，我们寨子里的石头可以开花。”郑会英23岁的孙女田敏说，“我觉得石花很神奇，一直想弄明白为什么石头会开花。我跟班上同学讲这件事，他们根本不信，就跟着我到我家来玩。”田敏上初二那年，曾带了很要好的朋友来看，两人走了2个多小时的山路都不觉得累，一到寨子就直奔囤猪草的洞里去看石花。两个小孩子找来刷子，仔细将泥土刷去，当石花完全呈现在朋友眼前时，朋友激动得用手抚摸个不停。
“看完石花后，朋友还写了一篇关于石花的文章。我们当时和寨子里所有的人一样，对石头开花存着很多疑惑，当时年纪小缺乏知识，又没有手机、相机、网络等设备，所以一直没能揭开石花的秘密。”田敏说，直到科考队来了，我们一直在旁边听他们解释，终于知道了这是叠层石，石头开花的谜团总算是揭开了。
后坪乡发现叠层石的消息不胫而走，寨里在外打工的年轻人在网络上看到消息后，纷纷打电话回家询问究竟。
