课间奶和营养午餐

和日本相比,我们传统饮食三口之家晚餐也就只有两菜一汤,而日本家庭每天保证食品样数在25-30种,这当然比中国人一天只吃十多样东西获取的营养要丰富得多。

香山中医院中医内科主任医师、上海首家“儿童助长中医门诊”负责人钱尚统有着多年中医助长经验,在临床诊断中他发现,个子矮小的孩子普遍偏食,目前国内家长们的认识现状也的确不利于孩子生长,即使国内的学校同样提供营养午餐,可不少孩子没有认真地把营养午餐吃完,家长也并不与学校积极配合,反而下午放学时会给孩子带小点心、零食。“这样的习惯并不利于孩子的生长,家长应配合学校,鼓励学生接受全面的营养午餐。”钱尚统坦言。

终身锻炼习惯

在日本和韩国,棒球都是国民的主要运动。棒球,一直以来是日本人酷爱的体育项目,几乎所有的日本男人都玩过。而且日本棒球水准始终处于世界一线球队范畴。

“孩子有一项热爱的运动,并能坚持下去,对长个子非常有好处。”陆大江坦言,日本学生基本养成了终身体育锻炼的习惯,这正是缘于他们有一到两项自己非常在行的运动,因而锻炼积极性非常高。且日本教育界也有很多将运动融入游戏的方案,这样孩子们在玩的过程中便得到了很好的锻炼。

而中国的现状是学生普遍没有特长的运动项目,加之巨大的升学压力,学生们对体育的积极程度相对减弱,即使现在强调每天1小时锻炼,在陆大江看来,时间可能达标了,但真正意义上的锻炼效果却是不尽如人意的。

陆大江在日本研究学生体质的11年时间中,他看到,日本学生下午3点后基本没有课业,直到晚餐前的时间日本学生们通常都用于运动。且日本家长和孩子的互动性非常强,每到周末,日本的家长普遍会参与到亲子运动中,整个社会的运动氛围都相当浓郁。

三分饥与寒

冬天无论多冷,日本的孩子即使上身穿着羽绒服,下身肯定只有一条及膝短裤,孩子们的双腿就这么暴露在寒风中,这样的画面可谓是日本学生冬日的典型打扮,日本的妈妈们却普遍反映,经过这样的寒冷训练,孩子得病的次数反而少了。

虽然日本的做法有些夸张,但在钱尚统看来中国自古便有“若要小儿安,带一份饥与寒”的育儿古训,而日本孩子冬日的着装方式也正符合这一理念——中心部位不受寒,给予下肢冷刺激。

“其实寒冷能刺激生长激素释放。”钱尚统进一步解释道,孩子生长的关键在于生长激素,而让孩子有些寒冷的感觉便能促使人体自身释放生长激素,“当然我提倡的是给予孩子适当的冷刺激,而不是一直让孩子在寒冷的环境里,比如现在秋天不要加衣服太快,如果孩子在换季过程中没有感受到冷,缺乏冷刺激,无论对生长还是呼吸道都不是很好。”而令人担心的现状是,国人的养育观念普遍给孩子穿得太多。

此外,据钱尚统介绍,饥饿感有助于生长,因而钱尚统总是叮嘱患儿的家长在保证孩子三餐营养摄入均衡的基础上,没有必要时不时给孩子吃零食和点心,从中医角度讲,人的脾胃有一个工作和休息交替的过程,如果没有饥饿感,脾胃得不到休息,不但孩子长不高,甚至会导致肥胖。

让孩子21点前睡着

睡觉也是助长因素中至关重要的一环。钱尚统非常珍惜晚上9时到次日凌晨6时的睡眠时间,他强调,为了保证青少年的身高,晚9点必须熄灯睡觉。学龄前儿童要睡足10小时,青少年要睡足9-10小时。
