甘肃一原副部长非法吸收公众存款近6700万

　　新华网兰州10月22日消息，除了涉嫌受贿、挪用公款、滥用职权等罪名外，非法吸收公众存款也是甘肃省委统战部原副部长、省工商联党组原书记吴继德一案的被指控内容之一。20日至22日，甘肃省张掖市中级人民法院依法公开开庭审理了这一案件。

　　张掖市人民检察院指控，2000年至2014年，被告人吴继德利用担任榆中县委书记、兰州市常务副市长、甘肃省委统战部副部长、省工商业联合会党组书记、常务副主席等职务上的便利，为有关单位和个人在项目开发、规划审批、职务晋升等事宜上提供帮助，收受相关人员给予的财物共计折合人民币1192万余元、美元3.06万元；伙同他人非法吸收公众存款6696万余元；挪用公款815万余元；滥用职权给国家造成特别巨大的财产损失。依法应当以受贿罪、非法吸收公众存款罪、挪用公款罪、滥用职权罪追究被告人吴继德的刑事责任。

　　经过三天的法庭审理，该案将择期宣判。
