Beijing, October 27, the Defence Ministry press service Deputy Director Wu Qian, China's Defense Ministry spokesman said today that the rocket troops are combat capability of the forces, have the confidence and ability to safeguard national sovereignty and security.
Today October regular press conference held by the Chinese Defense Ministry, a reporter asked: the end of September, CCTV, Central Government main media published photographs and video footage showed Rocket Army brigades have been equipped with Dongfeng -21C medium-range ballistic missiles. Does it mean that the missiles already have combat capability?
Wu Qian said the rocket troops are combat capability of the forces, have the confidence and ability to safeguard national sovereignty and security.

　　中新网10月27日电  中国国防部新闻局副局长、中国国防部新闻发言人吴谦今日表示，火箭军部队均是具备实战能力的部队，有信心有能力维护国家主权和安全。

　　中国国防部今日举行10月例行记者会，有记者问：9月底，央视等中央主要媒体公布的照片和视频画面显示，火箭军某旅已经装备了东风-21C型中程弹道导弹。请问这是否意味着该型导弹已经具备了实战能力？

　　吴谦表示，火箭军部队均是具备实战能力的部队，有信心有能力维护国家主权和安全。
