近日，中国首张微信身份证亮相南宁。据介绍，南宁市公安局和腾讯公司达成战略合作，基于腾讯优图人脸识别技术，在南宁全市推行身份证信息电子化。未来，南宁市民可凭借这张电子身份证就可以入住酒店、场馆检票、车站机场安检等。
“电子身份证”的生成非常简单，南宁市民可以在南宁微警务公众号、绿城警民通App中创建，然后输入个人信息、上传身份证照片后即可生成。
微信“电子身份证”的出现，让每个人的电子身份信息更加丰富，和互联网的联系也愈发密切。此外，微信还将在南宁推出“电子驾照”，两款电子版个人证件都将入住微信“城市服务”平台。
据了解，目前南宁公安局已经联合腾讯公司推出了南宁消防119微信报警、南宁出入境服务、线上电动车返赃等多项服务，警务相关的缴费环节也将通过微信支付来实现。
