广东一国企董事长涉贪5.7亿 销毁会计账册

　　新华网广州11月4日消息，记者4日从广东省高级人民法院了解到，11月1日至3日，茂名市中级人民法院公开开庭审理了广东物资集团原董事长庄耀受贿、贪污和故意销毁会计账簿一案，涉嫌贪腐折合人民币共计5.7亿多元。

　　公诉机关指控，在2002年至2012年期间，被告人庄耀利用其担任广东物资集团公司总经理、党委副书记、董事长、党委书记等职务上的便利，为他人谋取巨额不正当利益，并非法收受贿赂共计折合人民币1650万元；1999年至2009年间，被告人庄耀利用职务便利，单独或伙同他人，非法占有公共财物，共计折合人民币55437万余元；2013年8月，庄耀伙同他人销毁广东名居房地产服务有限公司的会计账册。

　　法庭上，公诉机关出示了相关证据，庄耀及其辩护人进行了质证，控辩双方充分发表了意见。法庭宣布本案将择期宣判。
