首富为什么会做这笔“赔钱买卖”?

不过,这一“拆除-重建”的改造计划受到当地部分市民的激烈反对,当时一度传出“马德里7万市民联名上书反对拆除西班牙大厦”的消息。同时,当地执政党更换,新任马德里市长也否决了对于西班牙大厦的拆除计划。拆建阻力重重,这也导致了首富的退出。
