　　新京报快讯(记者王煜)今日(7日)晚间，新京报记者从河南南阳警方获悉，11月3日发生于该市卧龙区潦河镇的初中生群殴事件，造成一名学生死亡，多名涉案学生被控制。

　　近日，有河南当地网友发布消息称，南阳市卧龙区潦河镇第一初级中学多名学生发生群殴事件，并造成人员伤亡。上述网友发布的图片显示，事发学校门口停放有警车，并有多人围观。

　　新京报记者随后从潦河镇政府确认，事发11月3日下午放学时，几名学生因口角产生冲突，校方随后报警。

　　今日晚间，新京报记者从南阳市公安局卧龙分局获悉，涉事学生均为潦河镇第一初级中学学生，其中，学生赵某因口角与庄某等多名学生产生冲突，随即引发斗殴。在此过程中，庄某受重伤，送医后不治。目前，包括赵某在内的多名学生已被警方控制。当地政府及中国教育部门也已组织工作组进驻学校调查。
