At the meeting, Cui Weicheng said time schedule: in December, meter-scale unmanned submersible to 11000 meter Marianas Trench and Lander will test. In 2020, "the Rainbow fish" HOV will challenge the 11000 meter Marianas Trench, achieving third manned exploration of the end of human history, this is the first time Chinese abyss manned exploration of the end of the limit.

曾任“蛟龙号”载人潜水器第一副总设计师的崔维成在会上分享了中国科研团队在深渊探索方面的成就。他透露,计划于2020年在马里亚纳海沟完成11000米深度极限挑战。

崔维成现在担任上海海洋大学深渊科学技术研究中心主任,据他介绍,2012年6月,“蛟龙号”在马里亚纳海沟成功下到了7062米的深度,创下中国载人深潜记录。

“但是还要必须清醒看到,我们离国际上最先进的水平还是有一定的差距。”崔维成说。

崔维成表示,上海海洋大学组建了国内高校第一个深渊科学技术研究中心,目的是希望把一批对深渊海沟探索有兴趣的科学家、工程技术人员集中在一起,专心致志来研制深海的装备、发展深渊的科学。

崔维成透露,目前正在探索建立深渊科学技术流动实验室,这个系统包括3个万米级着陆器、1台万米级复合型无人潜水器、1台万米级载人潜水器和1艘科考母船。

在崔维成看来,挑战深渊最大的技术挑战在于建造足以克服海底巨大压力的载人潜水器。从理论上来说,每下潜10米就增加一个大气压,当人下潜到海底6000米深度时,所受的压力将相当于北京地铁最挤时乘客所受压力的10万倍,而当下潜到11000米深度时,人所受压力就相当于一个脚趾头顶起3辆SUV所承受的压力。

在会上,崔维成还透露了探索时间计划表:今年12月,万米级无人深潜器和着陆器将进行11000米马里亚纳海沟测试。2020年,“彩虹鱼”号深潜器将挑战11000米马里亚纳海沟,实现人类历史上第三次载人探底,这将是中国人首次实现载人探底深渊极限。

“科学技术的进步是依赖于很多人不断去探索。”崔维成表示,探索深渊极限,从而使人类能够更好地了解未知的深海世界,并给后人合理利用和保护深海资源留下宝贵的知识和经验。
