天宫二号部分实验样品成功回收 太空种子开花

  11月18日,在中科院空间应用工程与技术中心,科研人员展示从太空返回并开花的拟南芥。


  据新华社电记者从中国科学院获悉,神舟十一号飞船与天宫二号空间实验室在实施分离前,航天员成功将天宫二号舱内空间应用系统综合材料制备实验的两批次(共十二支)实验样品、高等植物培养实验的返回单元转移到了神舟十一号飞船返回舱中。


  11月18日13时59分,神舟十一号飞船返回舱顺利降落主着陆场,综合材料实验样品、高等植物培养实验返回单元随返回舱完好回收,于当天19时许返回北京,在机场交付空间应用系统并顺利运抵中科院,空间应用系统总体与相关实验人员进行了实验样品基本状态的检查,确认返回样品完好后,顺利交接相关实验科学家。


  记者了解到高等植物培养箱返回单元内的拟南芥种子,经历了48天的空间培育生长,已抽薹开花和结荚,标志着完成了从种子到种子的发育全过程。


  目前,返回的拟南芥样品一部分已做固定处理,拟南芥果荚将带回实验室继续培养。综合材料实验返回的两批次样品将在实验室进行解剖分析研究,第三批次的6个样品将留轨进行装置热特性测量实验,以期揭示在地面重力环境下难以获知的材料物理和化学过程的规律,获得优质材料的空间制备技术和生产工艺,指导地面材料加工工艺的改进与发展。


  神舟十一号飞船返回后,天宫二号空间实验室转入独立飞行阶段,空间应用系统将继续按计划开展有效载荷在轨测试以及科学实验与探测,进行科学设备的参数精调,开展地球观测设备的定标和同步观测,同时深入分析研究科学实验与探测数据,开展地球观测数据的应用推广,争取获得更大科学成果,取得更大应用效益。
