模沙村里，一处两层居民楼已经出现明显开裂。由于灰岩水进入井下，江西宜春透水煤矿事故已造成距离煤矿1公里左右的模沙村局部地下水位急剧下降，并引发地面开裂、局部塌陷等情况，部分房屋出现裂缝甚至倒塌。目前，在有关部门组织下，模沙村在家村民已全部安全撤离。
