巴克莱银行称这“比使用银行卡传统的ATM取款方式更快更安全”。他们准备先在英格兰北部测试该系统，明年再将它陆续扩展到英格兰各地180家分行的 600个ATM取款机。

该系统将于2017年元旦正式投入使用。初期只有下载了巴克莱银行app的安卓手机用户才能享受该服务，取款限额暂定为100英镑。
