Today, Jilin province Jilin city intermediate people's Court in an open trial, former Vice Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee Lu Xiwen bribery case. People's Procuratorate of Jilin city, the costs of court favour, and Lu Xiwen of the defendant and his defenders appear to participate in the proceedings.

Jilin city people's Procuratorate charged: from 2001 to 2015, defendant Lu Xiwen make use of Xicheng District, Beijing, Xicheng District Committee, Secretary of Beijing Municipal Committee, organized Ministers, Deputy Secretary of the municipal party Committee, such as the convenience of duty, for the relevant units in obtaining financial support and assist on matters such as land, provided directly or through their relatives illegally accepting the employer's property, amounts equivalent to 1 8,786,602 Yuan. Thus draws attention to taking bribes while Lu Xiwen criminal accountability.

During the hearing, prosecutors presented evidence, Lu Xiwen and his defenders were cross-examined fully expressed their views by the prosecution, Lu Xiwen was the last statement, for the offences set forth in the Court said the sentence commuted, and returned all the illicit money and goods actively.

China, provinces, municipal people's Congress and CPPCC members, journalists and people in the community of more than 50 people attended the hearing.

　　今天吉林省吉林市中级人民法院公开开庭审理了中共北京市委原副书记吕锡文受贿一案。吉林市人民检察院派员出庭支持公诉，被告人吕锡文及其辩护人到庭参加诉讼。

　　吉林市人民检察院指控：2001年至2015年，被告人吕锡文利用担任北京市西城区区长、中共北京市西城区委书记、北京市委常委、组织部长、市委副书记等职务上的便利，为相关单位在取得财政资金支持和建设用地等事项上提供帮助，直接或者通过其亲属非法收受上述单位给予的财物，共计折合人民币1 878.6602万元。据此提请以受贿罪追究吕锡文的刑事责任。

　　庭审中，检察机关出示了相关证据，吕锡文及其辩护人进行了质证，控辩双方充分发表了意见，吕锡文进行了最后陈述，如实供述罪行，当庭表示认罪悔罪，且积极退还全部赃款赃物。

　　中国、省、市人大代表、政协委员、新闻记者及社会各界群众五十余人旁听了庭审。
