United States law prohibits punish customers for posting bad reviews-IT news

United States Congress passed legislation that would protect consumers online reviews free Consumer Review Fairness Act, prohibited consumers retaliate because of the negative evaluation of the consumer. The new law will take effect after the President signed it.

Prompted the formulation of the law because there are companies sued posted negative evaluation customers. Palmer v. KlearGear case, for example, asked Ms Jen Palmer KlearGear company remove bad reviews or pay a fine of $3500 because it contains non-demeaning terms of service agreement.

When comments are not removed after the company had reported to the credit reporting agencies debt outstanding is $3500, affecting the credit of Ms Palmer. The lawsuit ultimately ended with Palmer won.
