  据中国媒体报道,目前中国国内公路桥梁已接近80万座,其中大桥和特大桥近9万座,数量和规模均居世界首位。但同时,许多桥梁也进入维修期。当下,中国的桥梁已从“建设”为主的时代进入到“建设与养护”并进的时代。桥梁如何功能健全地“诞生”、在不出问题的状态下“成长”和“长命”正成为需要解决的课题。


  改革开放后,中国道路桥梁建设迎来高潮,大桥和特大桥建设也急速推进。据不完全统计,如今中国的公路桥梁约4成已使用20多年,技术等级低的带病桥梁占3成。据称,有10万座桥梁处于“危桥”状况。专家表示,近年来大桥和特大桥建设的人工和材料费用高涨,桥梁造价不断增加。但许多桥梁的质量与造价并不一致,甚至出现竣工数年后就需修补的事例。在中小规模桥梁中,也有一些因使用劣质材料和地表下沉等原因面临变形风险,安全上存在一定隐患。


  随着中国的桥梁跨度不断扩大,安全性如今备受关注。但由于桥梁结构复杂、难检查和数据庞杂等问题,长期以来只能对部分桥梁实施检查,难以掌握所有桥梁的具体状况。鉴于这种状况,浙江省舟山市舟山西堠门大桥在建设时率先引进安全监控综合管理系统。另外,中铁大桥局集团公司已设立“桥梁医院”,一座主跨460米的桥梁,全线会敷设300多个监测点,远程监视桥梁状况,并可根据早期发现的问题提出养护修理“处方”。
