　　中新网广州12月7日电 （索有为 粤海渔）针对媒体日前发布的“徐闻县前山镇山海村屠宰并出售国家二级保护水生野生动物棱皮龟”事件，广东省海洋与渔业厅7日发布消息称，对此高度重视，迅速组织部署事件调查处理工作，并派出渔政执法工作组赴现场指导调查。

　　一组海龟惨遭屠宰的视频6日起在广东省湛江市民众的社交圈迅速传播，视频显示徐闻县前山镇海边，一只巨型海龟被绑在板车上，一大群人正在屠宰海龟，并以70元/斤的价格出售龟肉。当地媒体报道称，龟肉被闻讯而来的民众很快买光。

　　当地媒体称该巨龟是国家二级保护动物棱皮龟，又称革龟，是龟鳖目中体型最大者，最大体长可达3米。近年来，棱皮龟种群数量呈锐减趋势，有可能在今后10-20年内灭绝。

　　据悉，广东省海洋与渔业厅要求湛江市海洋与渔业主管部门会同有关职能部门对事件进行认真调查，如涉嫌犯罪的要联合警方侦查办案。目前，事件正在跟进调查中，如有调查结果将会及时对外公布。（完）
