　　中国驻泰国大使馆领事保护处9日证实，经使馆及时交涉，8日晚间在泰国芭堤雅殴打一名中国女游客的泰国导游已经向这名游客致歉，并给予一定金额的赔偿。

　　当地媒体报道，8日晚芭堤雅警方接到报案，一名25岁中国女游客在芭堤雅一处码头被泰国男导游打伤脸部，出现流鼻血和呕吐症状，随后被送往医院接受治疗。

　　中国驻泰使馆对此高度重视，分别向当地警方、旅游警察及泰国旅游和体育部等有关方面了解情况并表达关切，要求泰方妥善处理此案，依法惩治肇事者，维护中国游客合法权益。

　　当地警方调查取证后说，这名35岁男子为当地一家旅游公司的导游，被警方控制时仍处于醉酒状态，被拍照取证时还在胡言乱语，警方遂将其拘留。据了解，这名男子并非被打中国游客旅行团导游。

　　9日下午，在警方主持下，当事双方见面协商，泰国导游向中国女游客致歉并给予一定金额赔偿。警方表示，将依法追究导游刑事责任，并向泰旅游主管部门报告相关情况，建议其从行业主管角度进行处罚。（记者李颖，新华国际客户端报道）
