据中国军网12月17日报道，最近，在中国南海发生了一起事件，事件的主角嘛，就是美国“鲍迪奇”号海洋勘测船。该事件发生后，朋友圈颇有一种自豪之感，“给它一点颜色看看”的感觉还是蛮好的！不过话说回来，这艘“鲍迪奇”号海洋勘测船到底是艘什么船呢？中国军网为您解析一下它的真实身份！
“鲍迪奇”号隶属于美国海军海上补给司令部（Military Sealift Command），代号T-AGS 62，属于“探路者”级（Pathfinder-class）海洋地理勘测船，是美国海军5艘海洋地理勘测船之一，其他四艘分别是“探路者”号（Pathfinder T-AGS 60）、“亨森”号（Henson T-AGS 63）、“希森"号（Bruce C.Heezen T-AGS 64）以及“西尔斯”号（Mary Sears T-AGS 65）。不过，它们虽然名义上叫做海洋勘测船，其实都是货真价实的间谍船，常年在世界各地海洋执行任务，利用船上配备的先进情报侦察系统进行侦察活动。
“鲍迪奇”号以美国著名航海家、数学家和天文学家鲍迪奇命名。“鲍迪奇”号共新旧两艘，老“鲍迪奇”号参加过“二战”，担负了美国原子弹爆炸试验侦察任务，后来退役。新“鲍迪奇”号，就是如今在中国出名的这艘了，排水量5000吨，1996年7月19日下水服役，共有船员25人，“科研人员”30余人，多为美国海军资深情报专家。
“鲍迪奇”号是美国29艘“特种任务船”中的一艘，其主要任务范围就在中国周边海域。所谓“特种任务船”，说白了就是间谍船！为了掩盖其“间谍”身份，这些船只往往打着民间机构的旗号。美国军方还辩解说，“鲍迪奇”号的潜航器是用来监测水的盐度和温度以绘制水文地图的，虽然隶属于美国海军，但当时正由平民操作。美国军方还说，这个水下潜航器在中国南海海域“合法”进行军事测量。
不过，看看“鲍迪奇”号的装备，就能知道他们在说谎。“鲍迪奇”号主要的侦察设备有海图测绘系统、海洋水文（如海水盐度、潮汐等）分析设备和水下侦察设备，第三项就不用说了，前两项也都可以用于军事目的。“鲍迪奇”号还配备了先进的拖拽式声呐系统，更是如同“情报吸尘器”，把所经之处的海洋情况摸得一清二楚。它搜集到的情报，主要提供给美国潜艇使用。这次露了一把脸的，是“鲍迪奇”号上的无人潜航器。
此外，早在2002年就有报道称，美国间谍船“鲍迪奇”号在中国专属经济区进行危害中国国家安全的非法情报活动。当时，我中国外交部发言人章启月表示，美国“鲍迪奇”号海军船未经中方同意，在中国专属经济区活动，违反了国际海洋法，侵犯了中国专属经济区的相关权益及管辖权。我们要求美方遵守国际法规定，希望“鲍迪奇”号海军船停止在中国专属经济区的有关活动。可见，“鲍迪奇”号是个惯犯！
