警方调查，仅仅南京农业大学内部，就有数十名同学帮边某贷了款，总计180多万元。据了解，边某是湖北荆州人，事发后，他的家人曾经到南京来过，承诺会帮边某把欠款还上。由于边某的行为涉嫌诈骗，目前警方正在对此事进行调查处理。
