12月28日在西安举办的联想创新大会西安峰会,其实可以算作是今年6月份TechWorld技术大会上发布的新品的技术延伸和战略解读。联想也确实想通过类似形式的活动,将自己的品牌理念传达出去。

说点干货,除了回顾和讲解在6月份TechWorld上已经发布的新硬件,本场峰会的重点,还是杨元庆公布了联想未来的3个战略方向:1、细分化的PC业务2、移动业务和数据中心业务的整合3、设备+云服务的最终形态。

PC业务的细分并不难理解,联想希望智能设备能满足这四个方向:精品化、个性化、智能化和服务化。其实在现在的联想产品中,也可以看出包含这4点的设计导向。可靠性、容错性、安全性和可惯例性是精品化的重点,这在联想的ThinkPad旗舰产品上体现的比较多,尤其是在设计还是综合性能上,联想ThinkPad的旗舰机型X1 Carbon都可以算是当今市面上最好的Windows笔记本之一。

不过这样就会出现一种矛盾:手机作为当今消费电子市场的一种快消品,普通人更换手机的频率可能都达到了1年或者半年一换,而以目前Moto Z模块化通过背部磁吸和触点的连接方式,意味着这种模块成为了一种或者是一类产品的转用配件。

联想表示目前的Moto Mods模块将支持未来的三代Moto产品,但这样的战略对于消费者来说,一是限制住了未来的选择,二是目前Moto Mods的可选模块确实不多,在功能上也是“锦绣添花”而并非“没有不行”,Moto Mods较高的售价削减了一部分用户的购买欲望。所以Moto目前采用的这种模块化的战略究竟会有多少人买账,确实还根据未来1-2年的市场发展来看。

尽管模块化在消费者市场的现实显得略微骨感,但用手机作为最为重要的终端,通过接入不同的配件设备来进行使用的未来还是值得期待的。这样的话手机和其他硬件将不会是分离的关系,对于用户来说,操作和使用的复杂程度将会大幅降低,而手机,将会成为你数字化生活的绝对中心。

最后来看看联想在最后一个战略走向“云服务”上的态度,联想表示目前正在“敏态”和“稳态”上重点发力。所谓“敏态”是针对新兴企业,聚焦于企业外部,交易和实用性数据。而“稳态”则是给那些大型企业提供的私有云和混合云,针对企业的数据流程部署一套比较传统完善的解决办法。

用最简单的话来说就是联想通过大数据和云计算的功能,为企业的经营方式作出指导性的优化调整。在发布会上联想也扔出了2个颇具说服力的例子:莱布尼茨实验室的超算中心在使用了联想的技术后5年节省了1千万欧元的能源开销,联想也通过对温州医科大学第一附属医院的整体工作效率进行了优化。

联想用长达3小时的技术峰会,将自家战略线上从针对消费者的普通领域到针对企业端的云服务都做出了展示。至于联想为什么要开这样的峰会,并且明年还将在昆明继续“布道”,其实看杨元庆在峰会上说到的一句话就能明白:联想想召开这样的峰会,已经想了13年了。

也对,揣着技术晒不出来,市面上就可能认为没有真本事,而召开大规模的创新大会,确实对于联想品牌形象的提升有些许帮助。
