Tsinghua report: China average of 113,000 yuan, United States for the 122,000-business, China-IT information

Report noted that entrepreneurial activity in China in the Group of 20 are active. China's early-stage entrepreneurial activity index (measure of an economy in a number of entrepreneurs aged 18 to 64, the proportion of adults) is 12.84% than the United States (11.88%), United Kingdom (6.93%), Germany (4.7%) and Japan (3.83%) are more active. Business sectors, the report said, China venture capital activity focuses on customer service, lower rates higher value-added business. China's service industries (such as wholesale, retail, etc) business accounted for 69.79% of all industries and high value-added commercial services (such as information, finance, professional services, and so on) only 8.2% entrepreneurial. Business services business gap with the developed countries, such as the United Kingdom (35.49%), United States (32.79%), France (31.42%), Germany (26.89%).

In addition, the international orientation of Chinese entrepreneurial activity needs to be improved. China venture enterprises have more than 25% relatively low proportion of overseas customers, 5.46%, well behind Canada (27.93%), Germany (25.13%) and other developed countries.

清华大学经济管理学院中国创业研究中心12月28日对外发布的《全球创业观察(GEM)2015/2016中国报告》显示，中国创业者创办企业平均所需资金为11.3万元(人民币，下同)。
2016年9月，杭州G20(二十国集团)峰会通过了《二十国集团创业行动计划》。此后，除欧盟作为经济联合体外，其他19个国家均在不同年份参与全球创业观察研究。前述报告从创业活动的总体特征、创业环境和政策、创业质量和创业融资等视角对G20背景下的中国创业进行了分析。
报告指出，中国的创业活动在二十国集团中比较活跃。中国早期创业活动指数(衡量一个经济体中创业者数量在18岁至64岁成年人中所占的比例)为12.84%，比美国(11.88%)、英国(6.93%)、德国(4.70%)和日本(3.83%)更活跃。其中，中国创业活动的主体是青年，占创业者总体比例的41.67%。
创业的行业类别方面，报告显示，中国创业活动主要集中在客户服务业，高附加值产业创业比例较低。中国客户服务产业(如批发、零售等)创业比例占所有行业的69.79%，而高附加值的商业服务业(如信息通讯、金融、专业服务等)创业比例仅为8.2%。与发达国家的商业服务业创业比例差距较大，如英国(35.49%)，美国(32.79%)，法国(31.42%)，德国(26.89%)。
创业资金方面，中国创业者资金来源于自有资金(比例为91.3%)，主要渠道是家庭、银行和朋友，银行贷款、风险投资、政府项目和众筹也是创业资金的来源。同以人民币计价，中国创业者创办企业平均所需资金为11.3万元，美国为12.2万元。
创业环境方面，报告认为，中国创业生态环境总体表现良好，创业生态环境在市场开放程度和政府政策方面表现较为突出，但商务环境和教育培训等方面亟需改善。
此外，中国创业活动的国际导向有待提高。中国创业企业拥有25%以上海外客户的比例相对较低，为5.46%，远远落后于加拿大(27.93%)、德国(25.13%)等发达国家。
