　　2016年12月29日，福建省长乐市漳港街道路顶村村民陈祥基，将16万元特殊党费，交到路顶村党支部。

　　这16万元，是陈祥基的父亲陈纲湍一生省吃俭用攒下的。陈纲湍是路顶村的老支书，1955年5月入党，有60多年党龄。上月12日，老人因病去世，享年89岁。弥留之际，他嘱咐子女，将16万元作为党费交给党组织。

　　陈祥基说，按长乐地方习俗，老人办寿宴或办丧事都要讲排场，向宾客分发红包；但父亲崇尚节俭，最看不惯铺张浪费，家里每次为老人办寿宴，都很节俭，子女们聚在一起，陪老人简单吃个饭。

　　弥留之际，陈纲湍还一再交代子女，他的丧事要从简，不能大操大办。老人去世后，子女们遵照其生前嘱托，将办丧事节省下的100万元，捐给长乐市慈善总会，设立长乐市陈纲湍教育助学基金，用于资助困难学生。

　　陈祥基说，小时候，家境贫寒，改革开放后，他和三个弟弟、一个妹妹先后办起企业，日子越过越好。父亲经常教育他们，日子好了，但不能忘记曾经的艰苦岁月，成功后要记得多做善事，帮助那些需要帮助的人。

　　父亲的谆谆教导，深深影响着子女们。仅陈祥基一人，就先后捐资近200万元，帮助当地办学、修路、装路灯等。
