1月2日下午，陕西兴平市公安局相关负责人回应称，针对网曝的兴平县警方和户县警方对峙的情况，目前双方正在接受上级的调查。
同时，西安市公安局相关负责人在接受记者采访时，也表示正在调查此事。
稍早前，有网友向记者爆料称，2016年12月31日凌晨，在陕西户县和兴平市的交界地段，发生了一起警方对峙的情况。
据网友介绍，30日上午8点，兴平市执法大队和兴平市公安局在对当地违法采砂进行执法，期间扣留了违法车辆和机械。不过，在对这些违法车辆和机械押运的过程中，户县警方和相关部门对车队进行了阻挡。

同时，该网友还表示，现场还曾传来3声枪响，不过最后双方还是达成了和解。截止31日中午12点，违法工具已经全部由兴平市警方扣回到了公安局。
随爆料信息，该网友还发布了9张现场的照片。
