记者：您在很多场合都说，龙石溪治不好，自己就趴下去喝，当时是出于什么考虑？
丁书记：龙石溪曾多次被省市媒体曝光，水质长期处于劣Ⅴ类状态，是开发区的长久之痛。“五水共治”是全省经济转型升级的组合拳之一，对我们开发区来讲，治好龙石溪意义尤为重要，我觉得这既是政治任务又是经济任务。如果不把龙石溪治好，把污泥浊水流到瓯江，对下游、对整个城市居民的危害是非常大的，所以我们必须要下决心治好。

记者：治好龙石溪靠的是什么？
丁书记：我觉得治好水，一个是我们要下决心，决心下了，这个水我相信一定能够治好。另一个要科学治水，不是盲目治水，我们首先要发现造成污染的原因在什么地方，真正的原因在什么地方。

龙石溪到底有没有消除劣五类？

经丽水环境监测中心检测，2016年12月29日采集的水样结果为：氨氮：1.21mg/L，总磷： 0.087mg/L，高锰酸盐指数： 1.70mg/L，这些鲜活的数据表明，龙石溪确实消除了劣五类的标准了！
为何龙石溪会变清？如今被治理的如此清澈？
从2016年7月开始，龙石溪沿线100米范围内的73家企业纷纷破土整改，企业内的雨水管一律明沟明渠，污水管也架空铺设，为污水处理池打上“补丁”，并进行闭水试验，“绝不让一滴污水流入龙石溪。”
同时，开发区邀请企业管理者一起8次下河清淤，让他们感受到企业排出来的污水到底有多脏多臭，从而增强环保意识。
