美国人不吃转基因？圣女果、紫薯、彩椒都是转基因食品？由中国科协主办的“典赞·2016科普中国”活动日前揭晓2016年度十大“科学”流言终结榜，其中两项涉及转基因话题。同时揭晓的还有年度十大科学传播事件等榜单。

作为年度科学传播的一场盛宴，这次活动从8月开始向社会各界公开征集本年度具有影响力和科学传播元素的事件、人物、流言和科普作品。经权威专家评选后再经600多万人次网络投票，最终确定了评选结果。北青报记者注意到，年度十大“科学”流言终结榜中，全部事关人体健康，多数涉及食品安全，其中两项更是集中在备受关注的转基因话题上：美国人不吃转基因？圣女果、紫薯、彩椒都是转基因食品？此外，方便面32小时不能消化、个头大和奇形怪状的草莓是因为打了激素、喝苏打水能预防癌症……这些今年曾一度流传的话题都被科学一一给予了否认。
