　　央视网消息：2017年1月6日，江苏省徐州市中级人民法院公开宣判山西省运城市原市委书记王茂设受贿案，对被告人王茂设以受贿罪判处有期徒刑十五年，并处没收个人财产人民币五百万元。王茂设受贿所得财物及其孳息予以追缴，上缴国库。

　　经审理查明，2011年至2014年，被告人王茂设利用担任中共朔州市委书记、中共运城市委书记职务上的便利以及本人职权、地位形成的便利条件，为他人在职务晋升、工作调整、企业经营等事项上谋取利益，单独或者分别与王茂全、王茂同、王茂建、侯维共同收受相关人员给予的财物，共计折合人民币5235.1879万元。

　　徐州市中级人民法院认为，被告人王茂设的行为构成受贿罪。鉴于王茂设到案后，如实供述自己的罪行，主动交待办案机关未掌握的部分受贿犯罪事实，认罪悔罪，积极退赃，受贿赃款赃物已全部追缴，具有法定、酌定从轻处罚情节，依法可以从轻处罚。
