中国预防青少年犯罪研究会副会长、中国人民公安大学犯罪心理学系教授李玫瑾认为，父母对孩子的教育非常重要，预防青少年犯罪主要还是在于家庭教育。在该事件中，李玫瑾认为，小女孩是未成年人，尚属于监护范围，孩子家长负有责任，小女孩在这个阶段出现问题说明她父母的教育是有问题的。
中国政法大学教授、青少年犯罪教研室主任，青少年犯罪与少年司法研究中心主任皮艺军表示，这个小女孩做这件事情不存在道德上的原因，肯定要从医学和生物学上找原因。
皮艺军说，小女孩的生理学指标可能出现问题，主导因素跟她生理学指标的异常有关。他认为小女孩的家庭并不算恶劣，因为事发后他们家很快赔了7万多块钱。
对于小女孩摔打男童的行为，知名心理专家海蓝博士分析称，每一个孩子实施暴力的背后都是被暴力过的。被打的孩子心理发育相对来讲都比较迟缓，她对事实的后果没有一个判断。
谈及如何预防类似事件的发生，海蓝博士认为关键在于父母的教育上。
