Preliminary identification of waste incineration plant in Shanghai accident nets bursting-pipe explosion-Shanghai-garbage incineration plant

　　新华网上海12月5日电 (记者 李荣)记者5日夜间从上海市政府相关部门及嘉定区政府获悉，经初步调查，当天下午发生的上海江桥垃圾焚烧厂事故，是在其渗滤液处理厂房管网维修过程中突发爆炸引发厂房坍塌而造成的。目前除1人死亡、5人受伤外，还有1名失踪人员在搜救中。

　　据了解，事故发生在位于上海嘉定区的上海江桥垃圾焚烧厂厂区内渗滤液处理一期工程厂房。事故发生时，约250平方米的该厂房正在进行管网维修，维修过程中突然发生爆炸并引发厂房坍塌，造成1人死亡，5人受伤，伤员被立即送往普陀区中心医院救治。另有1人失踪，相关部门正在积极搜救中。

　　据悉，上海市政府已成立事故调查小组，同时组织相关专家成立事故环境安全评估小组，防止产生次生灾害，相关事故原因正在进一步调查中。

　　环保部门表示，相关的环保监察、监测人员接报后立即赶赴现场调查处理，并对厂区内及厂界下风向大气环境开展监测。经监测，除厂区内局地有垃圾异味外，厂界下风向未检出硫化氢、烷烃类特征的污染因子。环保部门将持续对相关地区开展跟踪监测。
